Dropbox

Hey guys....

just started using dropbox and I am experimenting with it. Any seasoned users out there that can explain how I share files using the application?

I know how to share files between my phone and computer, but how would I go about sharing files (like I have seen in this forum... people will have a link to download roms/kernels/themes).

Also, on my phone, if I long press a file in dropbox, I have the option to download it. When I do, in the notification bar it says file has been downloaded, but, I have no idea where it was downloaded to... anyone know where too look? I have pretty much checked my entire sd card and cant find it.

Downloaded files are saved in /sdcard/external_sd/dropbox

Put the file you want to share in the "public" folder. On phone long press than chose "share", pick your options from the list.

You can setup sharing of any folder from the website, then access it from your phone.
