Dialer One as Default

I am using this app on my Eris with the 2.1 ROM. I would like to use this as my default dialer but am missing a step in doing so. Here's an exerpt from his instructions.

"Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> find standard contact appliaction, select it, press "Clear defaults" button.
Then press green call button in appeared dialog choose Dialer One and check "Use as defaults" option

Problem is, I cand find the "standard contact application", nor is there a Clear Default buuton that is not in grey ie, non functioning. Any suggestions?

By default, only the downloaded apps are shown in the manage applications window. You have to slect the menu button and then select filter. Change the filter to all. and then you found be able to find standard contacts app.

I tried this when you asked on the other thread and when you change the filter you can find "Contacts" but it does not have a clear defaults option available.

The dev stated that Sense UI is the culprit.

Look for the Application caller "Dialer", then you will find the clear defaults option.
