Stock text apps.

Whats the deal with the stock texting apps being so bad. I got the new LG V30 and the phone has built in support for T-Mobiles digits phone numbers but only with the stock messaging app. These stock apps are so bad for customizing the colors. Is there any way to change the ridiculous colors on the stock LG app? Who the heck want the ugliest orange color and terrible text boxes.

IS there a way to change the stock message app so I can use built in features without using the terrible stock apps?

Stock apps typically have minimal customization features. If you want that kind of customization, I suggest looking into 3rd party SMS apps like Textra or Chomp SMS.

The problem with using a 3rd party app is I can't use the build in features of T-Mobiles digits. The stock message app lets me text people using two different numbers. I can't figure out how to do that with Textra.
