What's the best "To Do" App?

What's the best "To Do" App? One that will show up in the notification bar and have reminders.

I have heard Astrid Task is very good. I have not used it personally though.

I've been using Remember The Milk, because I need a To Do app that supports things like when this is complete, create the same task that is due again in 60 days, etc. RTM has an Android app which works, has notifications, etc.

I tried to use Astrid to link with RTM but it didn't work properly.

I use 3banana for notes, and "colornotes" for both on-screen stickies/widgets and a "to-do" function.

Astrid isn't working right for me- most RTM repeating tasks disappear on the due date which makes it pretty pointless. The actual RTM app sounds good but not at $25/year. Google tasks too basic. Still looking. :^(

I've used Astrid with Pure Calendar. I don't know about using it by itself.

I'm with Dapke36. I tried Astrid and it was too structured for me. I use Evernotes (similar to Banana3) and make simple to do lists in that. That way I can have a one-time note for "things to pack for vacation" and a note that I keep writing over for "things to do this week".
