What causes them and why. I purchased a preowned Samsung Galaxy s9+, it was locked but I had it unlocked. Everything has been running brilliantly. Up until 5/10/2019 when it performed a ram dump while in navigation mode right at the last moment on route to a work destination. This also happened Sunday 13/10/2019 again at the worst possible time using navigation. I know it says do not touch phone for 10mins but I couldn’t. I had to reboot as I was picking up a female friend from a club in the pouring rain in the early hours. Anyway this happened about 10x. I used the navigation yesterday 14/10/2019 and it didn’t crash, it did however perform a few more dumps during my 11hr stint at work..
Is it a software issue or an app causing it ? When I check for software updates, it tells me that my current version is unsupported, visit service centre. It gives me 3 lots of numbers referring to the current version and security patch level of 1 August 2019.
Any help in this would be gratefully received
