I appreciate the increased number of sounds and suggest that companies like Zedge won't be overjoyed. However, as a guy who is sufficiently deaf to be unable to use a phone for oral conversations without over-the-ear headphones, I wish they had a section of sounds "Loud Enough to Irritate Neighbors." Short would be okay but a lot of old guys are hard of hearing.
And, yes, I've considered hearing aids. The doctor said a couple of thousands dollars and no guarantee on how much they would help or even if they'd help at all. Having had two wives and a long career I decided I'd heard just about everything I needed to hear...except phone notifications.
