remote wipe with no connection

is it possible to remote wipe an android device when its not connected to cell or internet?

im assuming its not but wanted to ask anyway.

lost a phone while traveling and all connections were off.

No, not if all connections are off. There is nothing you can do to wipe it unless someone who finds it turns them on. You can keep checking in Android Device Manager, if you have it enabled, to see if it is connected to the internet and if you ever see it on there wipe it.

If you don't have any remote wipe apps installed already and no ADM enabled, then if it ever connects to the internet you can install Android Lost App via Google Play on your computer and can wipe it with that.

But with no connections enabled, all you can do is call your carrier to deactivate the SIM and/or report it as lost to block the IMEI - no wiping with all radios off.
