XZ2 wont sync with Sony style touch case.

I have a XZ2. It has recently been sent back to sony for a master unlock. Prior to be bening sent off the style touch case worked well. IE: Use the phone with the case shut.
Since coming back i cant get the phone to recognise the case. I have even bought a new case and this wont work either.
Have they switched something off during the fix?
Is there a setting i need to look at?

Which touch case is this ? Have you talked to Sony about it?

Welcome to Android Central! Just curious, what do you mean that you sent it back to the for a master unlock? Did you forget your password/PIN, and Sony offered to do a reset to allow you to set the phone back up again?
