Samsung Galaxy S8 / Sync Contacts with 2011 GMC Sierra

[Android Central Question]

Have a 2011 GMC Sierra SLT: I Can pair the phone but contacts are no longer available, you have to use dial and give it a number. The Galaxy is running Ver. 9 of the software which is up to date. I have read and tried everything on the web but have not found an answer. It used to work, but I don't remember if it was this phone or the previous Galaxy S5.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! On the phone, go to Settings>Bluetooth and tap the gear icon next to the car listing. Make sure Contact Sharing is turned on.
