How can I prevent apps from being deleted

[Android Central Question]

My kids love playing on my phone However, they don't always understand what they are doing, and occasionally I find that they have deleted some of my apps. Is there a way to disable so kids are unable to delete but can still play apps. Is there any app that can make uninstall more difficult, or make access to the apps menu more difficult (e.g. require a password)?

Which phone ?
Some have kids mode or guest mode to help in this situation.
