How can I get my old facebook messenger chat bubbles back?

My phone just updated to android 11 and with it the new messenger bubbles. I've been using the facebook messenger bubbles for years and love it. I use it for messenger and SMS texts, and it integrates into one app. This new messenger bubble system is awful. I'm not able to quickly access all of my conversations from the bubble head. In order to open a new bubble I have to open messenger, then click in the conversation, then click on the info icon, then click on the menu icon, then select open chat bubble. Way too many steps! Is there any way I can switch back to how it was before when it was operating through Facebook messenger chat bubbles instead of androids??

Which phone ?

If its a pixel , should be in settings under apps/notification to turn off chat bubbles.
