Try clearing data on the Google app then force stop it.

I've noticed this lately on my LG V60 as well when I press the call button on my headset to voice dial. It use to display the Google Assistant prompt, but not anymore. No idea why, and haven't bothered investigating because it doesn't bother me.

I see this as well. Not sure if this was intended by Google, or if it might be a bug. Either way, send some feedback to Google about it from within the app.

Long press the google app then tap info > 3 dots upper right corner tap and Uninstall the update

@mustang7757 I clicked on that, it said uninstall updates, so I did, & now when I say Ok Google, nothing happens, I can't remember how to get to voice input settings :/

Fastest way is click on Google app when it opens go to very bottom tap more then tap assistant and see if hey Google off , make sure play store doesn't automatically update the Google app

Its a bug in the latest update , so when you see a new version avaliable for google app by the date then update it again , so by date i mean if it says update june 27 or later in play store .
