My text-to-speech is doubling phrases.

If you using Samsung text-to-speech try the Googles , go settings>general management >text to speech tap> tap preferred engine select Google.

Welcome to Android Central! We've seen this complaint a number of times recently, I think typically on Samsung devices. Samsung's voice dictation engine might have developed some bugs recently. What if you try installing Gboard and using that to dictate?
