Icons of rarely used apps are automatically removed from the home screen - how to avoid this?

[Android Central Question]

Hallo,

I have many apps, hundred, I know that it's good to have apps in hibernation if they are not used.

Since a few weeks, android is doing it automatically on my galaxy S10.

But, I would like at least to keep the icons on the home screen, cause they are all organized.

Any idea about how to keep the icons on the home screen?

For me is fine that rarely used app are in deep sleep, but I would like to keep the icons.

Long press the battery toggle on your pull down notification panel and make sure last one isn't toggle on ?
