Welcome to Android Central! The forum software can be pretty finicky when it sees links (especially in a guest post). Here's the link you were trying to share: www.att.com/idpassets/images/support/wireless/Devices-Working-on-ATT-Network.pdf

It's important to note that your particular model has an asterisk, with the footnote reading "*Indicates devices that may require a software update to enable HD Voice, Wi-Fi Calling, Video Call, Advanced Messaging or 5G". This is puzzling, since I would guess that neither LG nor AT&T would actually send out an update to a Stylo 4 that was released in 2018. Have you spoken to AT&T customer service? Maybe you need to get an updated SIM?

RE: LG Stylo 4 - not working

Thanks very much for your replies & suggestions & excellent assistance guys ! ;)
Seems like I haven't been around this way for 2 or 3 years.

Hi and sorry for delay in responding; had to scoot out for a bit. My wife rented one of those electric Nissan 'Leaf ~ Zero Emission' cars to try it out, and oh my gosh, they are so incredibly nice! Incredible and to me nearly unbelievable technology. Soooooo nice to drive! So quite; no engine sound; almost eery tech with a reverse/back-up camera that also shows a pic of the vehicle from what looks like a camera shooting down on the vehicle from approx 30' above !:-0 It somehow records everything whilst you're backing-up, then converts it to a view from 20~30 ft above!
Lots of questions though, like 1) How many motels have ample charging stations? 2) How do you prevent your charging cord from being stolen? 3) How long do they estimate that the battery life is going to be? 4) What will the estimated cost be to replace the batteries? 5) Is the battery the same models' as all the ones that are catching fire in garages (at night) and burning peoples homes down? 6) &c &c.

Regarding the Stylo 4; it lost service this morning after a notification popped-up saying something about the SIM no longer working or something, (we bought the Stylo 4 in 2018 for a 93 yr old parent —who's eyesight is very poor, with sight in only one eye— who swiped the notification away before we could see it).
But the phone no longer sent or received calls; instead displaying a pop-up that said, "Emergency calls only [OK]".

And @B. Diddy you were right; as an AT&T store rep concurred that our Stylo 4 just needed an updated SIM card, of which there'd be no charge for, whenever we could bring the phone in. So we walked in to our local AT&T store; they put in a new 'updated SIM' but it still didn't work. We all went, Hmmmm. :-\ But then the AT&T rep suggested that possibly the LG software needed updating, (I had updated the Android software already to no avail), and upon updating the LG software . . the Stylo 4 works again !=))

Thanks again! As I think @B. Diddy suggested on the other thread, emailing the AC community support admins did help. ;-)
