Offline speech speech to text app for old phone

[Android Central Question]

Hi, i have an old phone running android gingerbread and i want to type on it using speech to text. Does anyone know of an app that runs on gingerbread that has offline speech to text? I can download offline language packages on a different phone but it needs to be able to work without an internet connection. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! Even if there is an app to satisfy your needs, you'll find it very difficult to install and run it on such an old phone, given how outdated the OS is. Very few apps these days will still support Gingerbread, and Google stopped supporting Gingerbread a long time ago (you can't even access the Play Store on it).
