Google Pixel 6 charging

[Android Central Question]

I have recently purchased a Pixel 6 and and stuck for a charger plug.

My previous handset is the Samsung galaxy s8 and the charger that came with it is the Samsung Travle Charger, Model Number: TA20UBE

I cannot find any information anywhere to concretely tell me if this charger is completely suitable for my Pixel 6. Any help would be appreciated.

That charger would work, but you'll get better results (faster charge times) with a newer charger. I would trust Google's offering or anything from Anker (look for USB-PD support, the Nano Pro/Nano II series would be what you're looking for).

Welcome to Android Central! Any charger from a reputable brand will work and be totally safe. The ones that you can't trust are the supercheap no-name or off-brand chargers you might find on shady sites like Wish.

If you want fast charging speeds look for PD (power delivery) option or it won't rapid charge your device
