Why is the stereo sound not working on my airpods?

[Android Central Question]

Hi,I just bought airpods 2 pro today I have a xiaomi device but stereo sound is not playing in it I checked the Bluetooth settings in the developer options and selected stereo and also selected stereo in accessibility option but I get same audio in the left as I get in the right one and it's same the other way around I am a gamer and its pretty ****ed up I tried everything nothing is working and I am frustrated right now please help....
P.s airpods are working fine in other devices
