Google Maps navigation keeps freezing.

I use Google maps everyday. It usually works fine. However over the last week it has consistently frozen in place, and completely stop running. Everything else on my phone works fine when it does this. Any ideas? I'm up to date with Android 4.4.2 on my Moto x.

Try uninstalling the updates and then reinstalling them. It could have messed up during one of the recent update patches they did.
