AC Question

Hello,

I am currently having issues with my Virgin Mobile LG Optimus F3 with android 4.1.2. I have already factory reset the phone 5 times through the settings, and all of the normal stuff. But I am still having a serious issue with the phone after the reset takes place. I currently receive an error code on my home screen about my contacts, I have no icons for either the contacts or telephone on my home screen, they are replaced by the little green android man logo. When I click on the icons, I receive "unfortunately, com.android.contacts has stopped" and I click ok. Now I've used this phone for a few months and nothing was wrong, its actually the back up phone. Well now I need the backup phone again and I am not even allowed to make a call on this phone now. The error code and lack of icons make it impossible to make a call or access my contacts. I know the factory reset should of taken care of this problem, but it hasn't and I don't know what to do, as I need this phone again.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have the same phone on Metro PCS though same problem i just did factory reset and not only cannot make calls and access my contacts i've noticed some of my apps I use don't wanna work either. I'm not sure but I was able to use the apps before resetting my phone and now I can't. I've been reading around to see if anyone is having the same or similar problems. If we're not the only ones I can assume its probably software and the phone not working right. Maybe LG will roll us out Kit kat and it will fix it.

Did you ever find a fix for this issue? Our Optimus F3 just started doing it. We've done the factory reset, the hard reset and even reformatted the SD card. Still having issues. We're not eligible for an upgrade for another five months and I really, really don't want to pay full price for a replacement phone.
