contacts not syncing

Hi . I have a note 8 and Htc wildfire, and it's been almos t a month that when I save a contact on any of the devices and let it sync, it deletes the saved contact and doesn't synchronize at all. When I went to settings and checked my google account,only contacts weren't synced and it was written " syncing is experiencing problem now.It will be back soon". I don't know how to fix this. I tried clearing data and cache of contacts storage app,also logging out of my google account and then logging in again. But they didn't work too. Now I have disabled the sync for contacts and I save contacts on each device separately.
Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! When you say you tried logging out and logging back into your Google account, do you mean you actually removed the Google account from the phone, then added it back? If not, then give that a try.
