The short story is that I have a rather fast Internet connection - 25 Mbps down; 3.5 Mbps up. The problem is that when I run any kind of online backup - whether a backup of my Android (via "Helium Backup") or of my Windows PC (via CrashPlan) - they somehow use enough bandwidth to stop my voip from working. When either of those backups are actively running - especially the Android backup - I see external pings go from around 50ms to 100-500ms. This causes the voip to sound "broken-up" to the person we're talking to.
I am out of ideas at this point would very, very much appreciate if anyone could offer any suggestions...
Thanks,
Eliezer
