helium won't recognize my apps to restore

Helium doesn't read my apps to restore them. I saved them to my phone's internal memory then transfered them to my computer. I put them back on my phone and the app doesn't recognize them. Please if someone knows how to fix this that would be awesome I have spent a lot of time getting the data .
