Walking Mate has stopped working

[AC Question]

The walking Mate on my Galaxy Note 3 has stopped working, it does not record any steps at all, even thought the phone is with me the whole day.
Can anyone suggest a fix or test app?

First try a soft reset, and data cache clear.
