Dear all,

I have PC with Windows 8.1 Ent., 32-bit, and Saphir Media Tablet SMT-7-3G with android 4.2.2. Tab specs: Dual Core 1.6 GHz, 1GB, 16 GB internal memory, 3G.

Either MTP or PTP I cannot share files between PC and tab via USB, while Bluetooth is working fine.

1- When I connect PC and Tab via USB cable by selecting MTP in android windows shows "MID" in "This PC". by double clicking it shows "NAND FLASH" as a drive and it has nothing. By refreshing it shows files and folders. But files in these folders cannot be access and cannot be copy. By opening a file error shows:
Error 0x80004005: Unspecified Error
Another Error by copying a file
Cannot copy Unlimited1.jpg
The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected.

2- By selecting PTP option in android windows shows MID with camera icon and it shows NAND FLASH but it does not show any file or folder.

Kindly help.

Hi, I responded to your other post as well. This may be another symptom of a poorly made device. Can you tell us what folders you see in the MID device on your Windows Explorer? Can you see a folder called DCIM (which is for the device's camera)? Can you access any files there? Keep in mind that not all system folders will be accessible by Windows Explorer.

You could also consider a wireless file transfer solution like AirDroid or Wifi File Explorer.

Dear B. Diddy,
My desktop doesn't have Wifi. It is connected with the cable. So I can't use WIFI file transfer softwares. My tab has built-in 16 GB memory. I don't have memory card.
I have USB Bluetooth dongle. So I can transfer via bluetooth. But It is annoying. I have to accept each file in tablet.

Kindly help.
