cant get the new software

[AC Question]

Hi all
I bought my HTC one online and when the new android version released (which is kitkat 4.4.) I cant have it every time I get the same message (there are no updates available for your phone), can anyone help me to solve it

Welcome to Android Central! Which HTC One did you get--the M7 or M8? Which wireless service are you using? System updates usually depend on the wireless provider--you might want to contact them.

I am using the HTC one M7, I am using wireless service from Etisatal (UAE) my friend got the update with the same wireless service, I think its from the phone it self, someone told me its maybe locked (because i bought it from the online) so there is any way to fix it??
