Are there any headset alternatives that aren't in-ear? I can't wear in-ear headphones.

I have pretty messed up ears and I can't do in-ear headphones. I can only do regular resting earbuds.

I have no allegiance to the iPhone headset whatsoever but I need something basically comparable. Basic, reasonable earbuds with a microphone and volume/track skip controls. Are there any? I want to buy this phone but if there's no solution it's unfortunately a total deal-breaker. If there's a MacGyver fix to just use the iPhone headset, that's fine too.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you describe what you mean by "regular resting earbuds" in more detail? How about Bluetooth headphones that are over the ear, rather than in-ear?
