Netflix plays on my HTC one m7 for about 1 minute and then the message "unfortunately Netflix has stopped" pops up and destroys it. I've cleared the data and cache. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still it's no different. The last thing I want to do is a hard reset. Is there something else I'm forgetting to check? At one time , for a few months every thing worked perfectly. But now it sucks and Netflix is the only app that makes that message pop up.

I too was having the same issue with my M7. I finally found the issue. I noticed that Netflix worked perfectly over WiFi. I have an unlimited data plan through AT&T so I rarely use WiFi. Evidently, some changes in the way AT&T handles Netflix traffic is creating the issue. I have a VPN service that I use on my desktops, so I added it to my M7. Sure enough, no more Netflix crashes now that AT&T can't identify the traffic! I think I caught them...
