AC Question

I'm looking for an app that you can create folders by category and put
apps that fit in that category, so I can bring up a list of categories and drop new apps in.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have, and which Android version is it running? You can create folders on the homescreen and add app shortcuts manually, so that's an easy way of organizing. Some devices allow you to organize your App Drawer as well, and if yours can't, then you can install a 3rd party launcher like Nova Launcher, which does give you the ability to create folders or categories within the App Drawer.

The absolute best app organizer is Auto App Organizer (AAO) by Zero Touch Systems which is available in the Play Store (sorry I don't know how to link to it).

I have tried many app organizers, but AAO is definitely the best! When you install it, the app automatically categories your installed apps into folders. You can then easily create new folders and categorize / re-catorize apps. Once you are done, you can put a shortcut on your launcher that automatically updates.

It is my dream app because I have felt buried under my 280+ apps. Now I can find them all easily!

Please try this app!
