While replacing my LCD screen I tore off the back button, what are my options to fix this?

i f'ed up my lcd screen note 8, what are my options?

i was trying to replace the broken glass on the note 8 but i managed to mess up the lcd and tear off the back button. so i will need a new lcd and the home button assembly. should i part it out or trash it and buy a refurb unit.

You could spend an amount of money X trying to fix it and if successful you've got your phone back. If unsuccessful you'll have to spend Y on a refurb, so you'd end up spending X+Y. But if you go straight for the refurb you're only spending Y, and it will be a good working phone with warranty.

X = pile of junk or good phone
X+Y = pile of junk plus refurb
Y = refurb

Just my way of looking at it.

Hi I was changing my lcd screen on a s5 Galaxy, and broke the little wire tat runs to the return bottom everything works just tat is their a way of fixing it ????
