I can not unlock my phone by swiping it, how can I access my phone without this function?

Swiping does not unlock the screen

when I swipe the screen, the screen does not unlock. I cannot access the phone

Does it respond to your touch? What kind of phone is it? I would try rebooting it (turning it on and off again) -- If that doesn't work .. Pull the battery for 30 seconds .. place it back in and turn it on. See if that helps to resolve it.
