Galaxy 5 asking for Alternative Password?

[AC Question]

I don't remember the alternative password on this account I have had only 3 months. It is a work phone and I don't have access to the Verizon account. I don't have a google account attached to it. What can I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Where is it asking for an alternate password? Was it set to fingerprint scanning, and not recognizing your fingerprint? Does your work have an IT department you can talk to?
