Why can't I hear calls after updating my HTC One to Android 4.4.3?

Call problems after updating my HTC One to Android 4.4.3

I'm based in Nigeria (Africa), I updated my HTC One (the first one, not M8) to Android 4.4.3 yesterday and ever since when I make a call I don't hear the other sides phone ringing and when I they pick I can't hear what they are saying and they don't hear me either. Even if I try it with an earpiece its the same thing. But if someone calls me the phones rings, but still can't hear them when I pick.

Please is there a solution to this problem, worst case scenario can revert to the android version I was using before the update?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Reset: HTC One (LTE) | T-Mobile Support

Wiping cache works fine, I can hear calls for one time, then it goes silent again. I delete the cache again, and it works, and after one call ... silent again. This can't be a viable solution.
