Hi everyone, I have an Asus Memo Pad HD 7 (ME173x) 8GB ...

It's currently on Android 4.2.2 ...
Can u please explain how to downgrade it to a lower version ?

The reason I am trying to do this is my tablet freezes a lot with a white screen, and it's so annoying.

I have already rooted my device ...

I have the same tab and when it upgraded I lost the ability to add or remove items from my SD. I too had the freezing issue as well. I wasn't sure what would happen but when I factory reset the device it returned it to out of the box. I still get the update notification but now I just ignore it. I believe, unlike phones, tabs don't overwrite the OS when updated and therefore, at least in my case, be returned to out of the box when factory reset. Aside from that rooting the device is always an option. With root you may be able to use the higher OS and simply change or tweak whatever is causing your issue. However both solutions will cause you to have to set up the device all over again, factory resetting will just be the simplest solution.
