Hi, my nexus 4 is unable to connect to google services(I have the orange WiFi bars) and I can't sign into hangouts. I think its because I did the stupid action of trying to force an android L update by clearing and force stopping google services framework. For the record, I did this before I heard that it can only cause problems for google services. Anyway, my hangouts gets stuck on a screen that says "signing in...". I thought that maybe I could click "add account" in hangouts and just add the same account that I was trying to sign into, but this just gave me another message saying "there was a problem communicating with google services. Try again later". I know this is probably my own fault but if anyone has a solution on how to resolve the issues that I am having with connecting to google services as well signing into hangouts, it would be greatly appreciated. I should probably also add that other google services like the play store seem to be working fine.

I have a nexus 4 running android 4.4.4 KitKat and the hangouts app is update 2.5

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Accounts, completely remove your Google account, then add it back again.
