When deleting an app is it really deleted

Hey there, so this might seem like a stupid question, but when uninstalling an app (from play store) off my smartphone does it REALLY get deleted/removed??? i.e. i'm talking ALL personal information and app data gone, no traces left, like the app never existed.

Yes. Well it get's overwritten afaik.You can wipe cache in recovery mode, which is helpful to smooth running anyway, though I don't think it will securely wipe info anymore than removing the app does.
It will remain in your Play Store - My Apps list, but that can be removed by hitting the X so no one knows you used it.

The data that the app owned gets marked for overwrite, but until it is, its still there. Its not something that can easily be recovered.
