Why does my battery drain so fast and dies at 50 more or less?

battery drains too fast and dies at 50% more or less

Hello, I am new here
I have a galaxy s4 for more then a year and recently i got a lot of problems with the battery, it drains really fast and and even the battery dies around 50%! Any of you can tell me what may cause the problem? Cause i cannot take my phone out cause it will last me for like 1 hour tops.

Welcome to Android Central
If it's dying at 50+% it sounds to me like a defective battery. If you take it out, and put it on a flat surface you can test it out. Just spin it, and if it spins freely it's a bad battery for sure. You can get a replacement for a few bucks online.
Can you post screenshots of your battery stats anyway, so we can see if it's something else?
