Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

I take it you want to move media from device storage, also referred to as sd storage (internal), to a (new?) SD Card you have installed.

Sorry about the baby steps, you may know most of this:
If the card is new and you have just inserted it, go to General - Storage, mount and format the card.

Go to the My Files app, the icon may be on the Samsung or Galaxy Plus folder/tray.

You can see the size taken by different areas here, and also in the Storage setting by tapping Used Space.

Tap images in My Files, then Menu button Select, select some or Select All by the drop down files amount, then Menu button - Move.
I think it will only let you move 100 at a time, maybe not. This is my Note 3 (similar menu) and I don't use a card.
