Can I get some help unlocking my phone?

Can not unlock my phone.

I have a new Samsung Galaxy 5.

I locked my phone with fingerprint lock and it decided it won't work. My only option now is "Alternative Password" Which I don't recall making one. I can not locate my phone through " Device Manager" to erase or make a new password as my LOCATION SETTINGS is off.

What do I do? I called phone tech services, Telstra ( My service provider) and Samsung plaza ( I am still waiting for samsung tech man to call) No one can help me.

I am on my last resort and I need to get into my phone a.s.a.p please!

Welcome to Android Central! My understanding is that choosing an Alternate Password is required in order to have your fingerprint sensor unlock set up. I'm not sure how you could have bypassed it.

I suggest bringing it in person to your local Telstra store and asking for their assistance.
