Why does Samsung Galaxy S3 tell me that TouchWiz home has stopped?

[AC Question]

I was using my phone normally, but at one point the error "unfortunately, touchwiz home has stopped" and when I press OK, the screen just remains black. If someone calls me, I can answer but otherwise I can't use the phone. any help?

Power Off, and boot into Recovery, then select Wipe Cache Partition.
