Backing up bookmarks

I need to do a factory reset but need to backup my bookmarks first. How do I do this? Thanks for the help

Re: Backing up bookmarks

That's the problem with using Samsung's stock Internet browser--I don't believe you can sync or backup the bookmarks from that browser.

Re: Backing up bookmarks

You can save bookmarks on the Internet browser to your Samsung account with the Bookmarks setting checked in Internet - Menu - Settings, and checking the Internet Sync option in Accounts - Samsung and syncing with master Sync on; though I don't remember if this worked in practice when I did a reset.

I also cannot remember how I imported and saved bookmarks from my pc a few times, but it's doable.

It's a question of checking your login and password for a Samsung account, or resetting it, before you reset as the device will first ask you to log in to Samsung before Google on restarting.

Thanks for that info, Madd54!

Posted via Android Central App.
Please excuse any typos or autocorrect derps.

Re: Backing up bookmarks

Thank you...I will give it a shot. My phone is the older version, so slightly different but I get it
Yes I was thinking afterwards I may have a different Internet (I have version 1.5.28 in Applications Manager) but hopefully you will have similar.

And you are welcome! Enjoy the forums and come back for other options.

I caught your other post but it was late for me last night.
I thought it was a typo, and I don't mean to ridicule, but golly there ARE pepper forums and lots of them.

I don't know if you got a reply but the clipboard in Android is normally temporary and stores the last clip until turned off - however Samsung has a trick up it's sleeve I learned from another great lady of these forums.

Open Internet !, long press the address entry field, select clipboard and a thumbnail of the 20 most recent clips appear. Touch one to copy elsewhere directly.

The Clipper app is recommended though. The free version saves 20 clips long term.
