How to Ctrl-A equivalent to select all texts on an Android phone

I am still confused here. I have an Android phone with 1000s of texts on it, some of which I would like to capture and paste into a Word or a Google document. But some of these are 100s of text entries long, and I don't wish to cut and paste each text -- where is the Ctrl-A equivalent to select all the texts in one selection (scrolling isn't going to work, it's too long)?

Welcome to Android Central! There is generally no similar function on Android. Try SMS to Text.

SMS Backup + will display them on your Gmail web inbox.
