Why is flashing my custom rom taking so long?

Flashing custom rom takes too long

I'm installing oxygenos on my oneplus using TWRP. It says:

Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
E:unknown command [wipe_data]
format /system...
extract the package...

Flashing file 1 of 1
/sdcard/oxygen_1.0.0_flashable.zip

But it is taking more than an hour already! What should I do now?

Make sure the charger is plugged in and wait until tomorrow. If it's still stuck, restart the phone in TWRP and restore the backup of the stock system you should have made before you started.

(Since they don't give an MD5 or SHA1 for the file, did you at least do a zip test to see if the file downloaded correctly? If the file is corrupt, it could take forever to not finish.)
