AC Question

I have successfully synced my google contacts to my moto e (evrything shows up in "people") but I have no phone numbers in the dialer app and can't make calls from the contacts/people list. Help please!

Welcome to Android Central! So if you open your Contacts app and select a contact that has a phone number, you don't see a little phone icon next to the phone number? Tapping there should make the call.

Contacts from my old phone/carrier were uploaded to gmail in .csv format. They are synced and show up in my people app on the moto e. There is nothing showing up in my phone directory (all contacts is greyed out. There is no phone icon next to any phone number with any contacts

Right, but in the People/Contacts app, can you select a contact and tap the phone number there to make a call? If not, edit the contact, and look where the phone number is--is it in the correct field? I wonder if the .csv file exported or imported incorrectly, and put the phone numbers in a field besides the one that's supposed to be for phone numbers.
