Sony Xperia Z3V When the timer goes off the screen does not light up.

The screen stays black & therefore when I'm running the hairdryer or anything else that is loud, the phone can be right in front of me and I have no idea the timer is going off because the screen stays black. How can I correct this?

No it does not help if I reboot.

No, it did help when I rebooted.

Have you tried clearing the cache in Settings>storage?

Yes. Still a black screen when the timer goes off.

Have you considered a reset then?
