Purple spot due to pressure on tempered glass but rest everything OK.

Hi, i have a purple spot on my nexus 5, caused due to pressure an visible either in black or grey background, so just wanted to ask wether it will spread or remain as it is?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by pressure? Was that an area where you or something else was pressing down firmly at some point?

From other posts I've seen, that kind of abnormality can start to spread, and ultimately cause the screen to fail. I would make sure your data is all backed up or synced well before it gets that far, and then consider a screen replacement.
