That's why updates are supposed to stop (and show a failure message) as soon as they detect a rooted phone. See if you can start in download mode (Volume Down+Home+Power.) If you can, find a stock ROM and follow
[Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN (it's not just simple, it's boring).
If not, and you're in the US, bring the phone to a Best Buy, find the rep with the Samsung shirt in the cellphone area and ask if s/he could please reflash the ROM for you. (I believe there's a chain in the UK with the same setup with Samsung.) If you're somewhere else, you'll probably have to contact your local Samsung repair center.
