There are several ways you can do that on Android. In Settings is usually an Applications (or Apps) menu, go in there and uninstall from there. You can do it from the Play Store and you can also find the app in the app drawer (not the home screen) and long-press then drag it to remove.
This is assuming the apps in question were not installed by the tablet manufacturer and would then be considered "system" apps, those can't be removed easily.
