This question may be great...or very dumb. I just got an Asus fonepad 7 from Korea. I was looking for the largest screen I could find. Anyway, I am using T-Mobile here in the US; and while the phone is great, the reception is not nearly as good as it was with my Galaxy Mega. I am told my phone has "Asian bands" and lacks the band I need for T-Mobil's 4G - LTE. Before sending the phone back for a return, I thought I would ask if there is anything I can do (rooting, Roms, etc.) to change the programmed frequency bands to the one's T-Mobile uses.
