how do I delete pdf files from my android ultra?

I am kinda new at this, I have downloaded files on my phone and no longer need them. Menus, schedules stuff like that.

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Downloads app, long-press the file, then select however many files you want to delete. Then tap the Menu button and delete.

If you don't see all of the files there, then use a file manager app like Total Commander or X-Plore (or the stock file manager, if one is preinstalled), and go to the directory /storage/sdcard0/Download.​ Delete the files that way.
